No Point What-So-Ever

Weight Loss Progress

Keep up with my weight loss posts for day by day progress with my diet, workouts, and other progress.

Height: 6’0” (give or take)

Starting Weight: 290 (Beginning of June 2012)
1st Weigh In: 275 (End of June 2012)
2nd Weigh In: 267 (August 4th 2012)
Current Weight: 265 (September 1st 2012)
Goal Weight: 200 - Though that’s just an estimate. It’s not so much about the number as it is about just being in shape.

Starting BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate): 2,550
Daily Calorie Intake(minimum):
Daily Calorie Intake(maximum): 1,600
Daily Water Intake: 150+oz
Vitamins: Super B-Complex, Choline & Inositol, Chromium, Omega-3, 6, and 9 fatty acids complex with flaxseed, Biotin
Other Diet Points: MonaVie RVL meal replacement shake for breakfast, roughly 30 oz of green tea a day, minimal snacking, more fruits and vegetables throughout the day, healthier choice pocket flat breads. I cut up and marinade chicken breast for a day or 2, then cook it all up at once to put away and use as cold cuts or toppings in burritos and pasta. I use Shirataki noodles for pasta, since I’m used to such an Italian rich diet, and they’re a healthy choice for noodles.

Exercise: Short burst workouts throughout the day, including abdonminal, pushups, pullups, hanging leg lifts, and Yoga/Pilates (Biggest Loser DVD)

Updates: This last month I went off the ball, didn’t stick to my calorie intake - I attribute that to a lot of stress and laziness. I didn’t exercise at all this last month either, but somehow I’ve still be slimming up, my legs look a lot more trim, I can see difference in the clothes I’m wearing, though it’s slight. I lost only 3 lbs this month, but there’s still change happening.

Goals: I’ve always been a big guy, in a family of big people. I’ve gone through times in my life where it made me a laughing stock, made me unwanted by everyone, and made it difficult to stay active in sports. I would like to lose enough weight to help the Osgood-Schlatters in my knees subside, possibly even go away completely, though that possibility is not yet known. As I get into shape I’d like to take up physically demanding things, like Parkour, and maybe some form(s) of Martial Arts. All in all I just want to be in shape for once in my life. I want to know what it feels like to not have a shelf on my body and a double chin.
